Our Background
Founded in 1998 and acquired by the Taylor Corporation of North Mankato, Minnesota in 2002.
In 2004, NowDocs acquired RxLASER and launched a Document Managment (DM) business unit to focus on developing business process managment (BPM) and document distribution solutions including the NowForms, NowChecks and Flash Media solutions. In 2005, we launched the www.checksandtoner.com website to provide our users a cost effective resource for ordering consumables online (check stock, toner, tax forms, etc.).
The DM business has quickly become a recognized segment leader for its versatile integrations of NowDocs BPMS, NowForms and NowChecks which utilize a highly scaleable ASP .Net architecture to provide robust document on demand services. Since 1998, the company’s innovative and award winning technologies have helped 4,000 organizations worldwide reduce costs, improve information accuracy and accelerate business processes.

Founded in 1948 as Carlson Wedding Service, they changed their name to Carlson Craft in 1975 and became part of the development company, Taylor Corporation. In the ensuing years, they have grown through product expansions, acquisitions and start-ups. Today the Taylor Corporation is a privately held organization specializing in business-to-business and business-to-consumer communications, printing and marketing solutions for specific niche markets. They are located in 22 states and eight countries around the world and collectively employ more than 15,000 people. Taylor Corporation maintains its corporate headquarters in Minnesota with offices both in North Mankato, Minnesota and in Eagan, a suburb of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan region.
